Gretsch Releases G6117T HT Anniversary With Bigsby Vibrato Cary Dec 20th
Old school hollowbody guitars have been all the rage for the last seven or eight years, but if you’re looking for something a little more original than that cherry red Gibson you see in every guitar store window, you might take a look at this sunburst beauty — Gretsch’s new G6117T-HT with Bigsby Vibrato.
Built to resemble Gretsch’s early ’60s sunburst Anniversary models, the new G6117HT apparently sports double Hilo’Tron pickups, a rock maple neck, space control roller bridge, and an authentic, and hella’ stylin’, Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece. Comes with a hardshell case, too!
Other features include a laminated maple body, 3-piece maple neck, laminated maple arched top, 16” Wide x 2.5” Deep hollow body construction, ebony fingerboard with 22 frets, master volume control plus separate controls for each pickup, 3-way pickup switching, Grover V98C Sta-Tite die-cast tuners, and a Gretsch G-cutout tailpiece
This baby’s a looker, to say the least.
