Old school hollowbody guitars have been all the rage for the last seven or eight years, but if you’re looking for something a little more original than that cherry red Gibson you see in every guitar store window, you might take a look at this sunburst beauty — Gretsch’s new G6117T-HT with Bigsby Vibrato.
Built to resemble Gretsch’s early ’60s sunburst Anniversary models, the new G6117HT apparently sports double Hilo’Tron pickups, a rock maple neck, space control roller bridge, and an authentic, and hella’ stylin’, Bigsby Vibrato tailpiece. Comes with a hardshell case, too!
Other features include a laminated maple body, 3-piece maple neck, laminated maple arched top, 16″ Wide x 2.5″ Deep hollow body construction, ebony fingerboard with 22 frets, master volume control plus separate controls for each pickup, 3-way pickup switching, Grover V98C Sta-Tite die-cast tuners, and a Gretsch G-cutout tailpiece
This baby’s a looker, to say the least.
