VOX Releases DA15 Digital Guitar Amp Cary May 1st

Vox Da15 Guitar Amp-1Big Things Come In Small Packages

Not content to be one of the main contenders on top of the tube-amp market (sorry, valve-amp for those in Europe,) VOX has now released two incredibly small amps that pack a powerful punch in the digital guitar effects department: the tiny VOX DA5, and it’s slightly larger cousin the DA15.

The DA15 isn’t even listed on VOX’s website yet, but it was introduced at NAMM, and from what I can gather it packs a whopping eleven different amplifier tones and eleven digital effects into a rugged little package that’s just 16.81“ wide, by .90” deep, by 15.24“ high, and an easy-to-lift 22.05 lbs. Talk about portable!

Among other things the DA15 features 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion (at 44.1 kHz,) and allows you to easily dial in your favorite effects/amp settings with two user-programmable locations that are available with one click of the optional dual footswitch. With the two programmable settings, plus a manual mode, the footswitch allows you to jump between three completely separate tonal/effects set-ups.

On-Board Digital Effects Include: chorus/delay, chorus/reverb, auto-wah, delay, reverb, flanger/reverb, rotary/reverb, tremolo/reverb, compressor, compressor/chorus, and compressor/phaser.

The VOX DA15 looks to be an incredibly versatile guitar amp for this size and price range…  Via [Music Gadgets]
