I thought I’d take a minute to point out a great FREE resource for those of you wishing to learn your way around the guitar, from basic note-reading, to 12-bar blues chording, to lead work and music theory.
Play Guitar Now, written by our enigmatic friend – known only as Retired Rock Star Wannabe – contains a wealth of short guitar lessons that include chord diagrams, standard musical notation, and even tablature. But perhaps more importantly, he’s gone to the trouble of including jam tracks you can actually practice along with to test your skills (now that’s value-added!)
If you’re interested in increasing your knowledge of arpeggios, movable chord shapes, diatonic triads and everything in between, well… you should check it out!

I found his site several months back. The time and effort he puts into it is unreal. The content and quality of a not-for-free site.
Thanks RRSW!
