Just a few weeks back I wrote about Fender’s incredibly cool (and unapologetically expensive!) all-tube Vibro King Custom amplifier, but this morning I noticed that music123.com has dropped the price on these hand-wired beauties. According to their website they’ve reduced the price to just over $2,000 – down nearly $1400 from Fender’s list price.
The Vibro-King Custom has a lot to offer the true tube-fiend – like Fender’s unique vintage “tube-reverb” unit (which allows for Mix, Tone & Dwell customization,) a trio of 10“ alnico Jensen speakers, tilt-back legs, and of course that instantly recognizable bad-ass Fender Vibrato!
It also sports an FX-loop, a 2-button foot-switch, and all the vintage Fender extras, including the obligatory ”Red Jewel“ on/off light, Ivory-colored radio knobs, black vinyl covering, and a silver grille.
Specs: 72 lbs., with cabinet dimensions of 22.5” H x 24.75“ W x 10.5” D.
