Guitarist Troy van Leeuwen – best know for his work with A Perfect Circle, and currently doing time with fellow audio-maniacs Queens of the Stone Age – has an intriguing new signature model guitar available: the Yamaha SA503 TVL.
The SA503 TVL, which was obviously inspired by Gibson’s classic ES-335, will sport a semi-hollowbody, double cutaway design (with an aptly-named Translucent Blood Red maple body,) and also includes a few unique features, like a trio of soapbar single-coils, and a pair of 3-way pickup switches – which should make for a much more versatile instrument.
To top it off, the Troy van Leeuwen Signature is decked out with a licensed Bigsby tremolo tailpiece… the only tremolo that matters!
