Free Guitars Make For Fun Fridays

Hell Yes! I know, I know, the chances of winning may be absolutely miniscule, but if you don’t mind giving away your closely-guarded e-mail address it looks like you can get in on Gibson & Guitar Player Magazine’s Les Paul GT Giveaway (Deadline Now Passed.)

As far as I can tell there’s no purchase necessary to win, and according to the website you can enter as often as once every day (though they warn that multiple entries in a day will be disqualified.)

The Les Paul GT is one of Gibson’s newer LP models, and among other things it comes tricked-out with strap locks, cable locks, locking tuners, dual coil-tapped humbuckers, and of course that hot-rod flamed finish.

That’s a whole lot of guitar to be giving away for free – in fact, inflated list-prices aside, last I checked these were selling for around $2500. Nothing to laugh at, even if the style is a little over the top for my taste… You can enter here (Sorry, Deadline Now Passed.)
