Well, if you wanna’ see Epiphone’s limited edition Music Rising Les Paul in action, and catch two of today’s hottest acts in the process, you might want to tune in to ESPN’s Monday Night Football this coming Monday. That’s because U2 and Green Day will be performing together live from the Louisiana Superdome – to commemorate the re-opening of the arena, and to help raise awareness of Music Rising, the program co-founded by U2′s the Edge to help bring instruments back to New Orlean’s devastated working musicians.
The performance is scheduled to be aired during the Sept. 25th pre-game show for the game pitting the Atlanta Falcons against the New Orleans Saints (show runs 7:00-8:30pm EDT, with U2 & Green Day playing 8:20-8:30,) and according to Epiphone the Edge will be playing his Music Rising Les Paul–which is available exclusively through Musician’s Friend, with all proceeds going directly to support the Music Rising Campaign.
