Schecter’s new and highly anticipated C-1 SheDevil is apparently now in stores and available for your ogling (don’t even think about fondling.) The instrument, which is just the latest installment in Schecter’s popular C-1 line, is expected to sell for somewhere in the mid-$700s.
While the SheDevil actually sports a number of stand-out features––including a pair of exclusive-to-Schecter Duncan Designed Active HB-105 humbuckers, and a TonePros bridge––in my opinion where the guitar really shines is in the aesthetics department: it’s decked out with crimson red binding (neck, headstock and body,) and branded with a duo of dangerous She-Devil inlays at the 12th fret.
An arched mahogany body, mahogany neck (25.5-inch scale length,) “Ultra Access” neck joint, string-through-body design, Grover tuning machines, and black nickel hardware round out the package. Controls include dual volume knobs, a single tone knob, and three-way pickup switching.
