Well, just in time for Halloween, and the release last Friday of the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel––“TCM: The Beginning,” Schecter Guitar Research sent out an e-mail yesterday with a sneak peek of their latest shredder, the Leatherface Avenger.
There isn’t much in the way of specs available at this point (the instrument doesn’t have an official page on Schecter’s website yet,) but the fact that the guitar features Meathook inlays, tarnished pickups & hardware, and poster-art from the movie on the front & headstock, well––that pretty much seals the deal for me!
The Leatherface Avenger, named after everyone’s favorite chainsaw-wielding, peeled-face-wearing madman, is expected to be available in stores in the near future… I’ll keep you updated.
