Just a quick note for those who missed it: last Thursday saw the release of The Who’s first studio album since 1982′s It’s Hard… yep, it’s been 24 years! The new album, entitled Endless Wire, is said to be another Pete Townshend rock opera, ala Quadrophenia or Tommy.
The mini-opera (which includes 10 songs) is apparently based on Townshend’s previously published novella The Boy Who Heard Music, and according to Gibson it’s––
“a tale about a teenage band and an aging rock star who is living out his life in a mental asylum.”
Teenaged bands & insane asylums––now that’s what I call Rock & Roll!

I heard that song “it’s not enough” on the radio… I have never been a huge who fan, but I think the song stinks.
