Ever since purchasing an EC-400 archtop earlier this year I’ve become a big fan of ESP’s guitars, so I thought I’d point out what looks to be the largest promotional guitar giveaway ever… or at least the largest in my memory.
In a PR stunt that’s bound to get them some attention from the shredders out there ESP, in cooperation with Hot Topic, and local darlings the Deftones (hehe, I used to practice in the room next to these maniacs, and they were freakin’ loud!) will be giving away a whopping 300 LTD SC-200 Stephen Carpenter Signature guitars. Yep, 300!
Among other things the guitar features what ESP calls a “well-balanced” basswood body, maple neck (25.5“ scale length,) rosewood fretboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets, a pair of Duncan designed HB-102 humbuckers, volume & tone controls, 3-way pickup switching, and a tune-o-matic bridge with string-thru-nody construction.

i would give almost anything to win a guitar! my family barrley gets by as it is, so i cant ask for one. I think i might cry when i finally get one. I’ve allways wanted one, Now im 16 yrs old and still no guitar. I want to get one before i leave this life!

Hi all, I’m a guitarist from eastern Canada; I’ve been playing for a number of years, both professionally and for enjoyment. We are in the same boat as a lot of you folks… hard working but low income; so right now I’m stuck playing a Yamaha RGX121Z, which is an entry level guitar, but not great. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to shred on an LTD SC-200, I bet it plays like butter; hitting that 40, 48 or more notes per measure would be a lot less painful (LOL). Take care !

Hey all I am 20 years old and I really want a guitar. I had one it was and act something but all my friends decided they were going to take all of the hardware off.
