Just a quick note that online musical instrument retailer Woodwind & Brasswind has dropped their pricing on one of my favorite Teles––Fender’s ‘72 Telecaster Deluxe. The new price is just $689.49 at time of writing.
The ‘72 Telecaster Deluxe was released in 2004, apparently marking the first time in over 30 years that the instrument had been available as a reproduction… I’m hoping the new lower price doesn’t signify an end to the current run of this truly stylin’ and powerful guitar.
A few stand-out features include a solid alder body, highly playable C-shaped maple neck (25.5“ scale length,) the now classic ’70s Stratocaster headstock, a pair of ”Wide Range“ Humbuckers, vintage style Strat strings-through-body hardtail bridge, and of course four amp-style knobs (two volume, two tone.)
You’ll pay an extra $50 for the 3-color sunburst finish, but it’s probably worth it if you’re a sunburst fan like me.
