Wow, it is truly amazing how time flies by… today marks the five-year Anniversary of the passing of one of the world’s most influential guitar players of all time––George Harrison. Of course, he was far more than a great guitarist, being an incredible lyricist & singer as well, not to mention a true humanitarian.
The guys at CybersMusic have written up a nice tribute to the man who literally helped shape Rock & Roll into the phenomena it is today.
And in other news, David Gilmour is apparently releasing a limited edition EP of three songs originally written and made popular by Pink Floyd’s enigmatic founder, the recently deceased Syd Barrett.
The EP, titled Arnold Layne, will be available for just three weeks––more at Ultimate-Guitar.com.
