Shredheads takes note: according to their website Schecter Guitar Research has added a brand new model to their already popular Hellraiser line of metal-centric guitars––the aptly titled Hellraiser Tempest.
The Hellraiser Tempest, which is basically a suped-up version of Schecter’s original Diamond Series Tempest, is aimed squarely at the shred-head demographic, with its most obvious enhancements being a pair of high-powered EMG Active 85/60A pickups, “gothic cross” inlays, and some rather deluxe looking body, neck & headstock binding.
The guitar is also expected to feature a solid mahogany body,3-piece mahogany neck (24.75“ scale length,) rosewood fretboard with 22 Extra-Jumbo frets, dual volume & tone controls, 3-way pickup switching, thru-body TonePros TOM bridge, Grover tuners, and black hardware.
The Schecter Hellraiser Tempest will carry a suggested retail price of $949, so you can expect to pay somewhere in the $650 range out the door.

Any idea when I can get my hands on this sweet looking axe? I can’t find it online at any of the big retailers.
