Late last night Gibson finally released specs on the latest member of its Guitar Of The Week series of limited run instruments––the gorgeous Les Paul Supreme in Autumn Burst.
Like the other guitars in Gibson’s LP Supreme line, the instrument will be decked out in gold, including gold hardware, gold speed knobs, gold Grover keystone tuning machines, and even 22 gold tinted alloy frets.
Of course the main attraction will be this rare Autumn Burst finish, which has been applied over a carved AAA flamed maple back & top, not to mention a fingerboard of rare “curly” ebony (totally unadorned with inlays,) white triple-ply binding all around (headstock, fingerboard, and body,) and an abalone & pearloid ‘Supreme’ logo on the head.
Electronics will include a pair of Alnico magnet humbuckers––490R at the neck, 468T at the bridge––and dual volume & tone controls with 3-way pickup switching, three-way switch. Stopbar tailpiece and tune-o-matic bridge are standard, and the instrument ships with a black reptile hard case with interior of white plush.
The Les Paul Supreme in Autumn Burst will be produced in a limited run of just 400 units.

Hi there
I just bought guitar of the week nº9. A les paul supreme autumn burst. Well, i’m just writnig it from what i remember, but what i’m sure of is the year. If it’s guitar number 9 and they began in 2007, how can this guitar be done in 2008? it’s strange isn’t it? i bought it from an official dealer in Spain, totally legal.
thanks
