Well, my friend Dean over at Campbell American was kind enough to send me a little bit of eye candy the other morning, and I thought I’d share it with you all.
This is a photo of one of Campbell American’s newest models, the Caledonian, and while this particular guitar is absolutely loaded with goodies (hence the $3100 list price––$2400 on the street,) I’ve been assured that there are more affordable options as well (they go as low as $1500 street.)
But just to get your mouth watering, the Caledonian pictured here features a single cutaway body of Honduran Mahogany, a Maple neck (25 1/2” scale length,) Rosewood fretboard with 22 frets, cream binding, gold hardware, a pair of gold covered Duncan Humbuckers (Jazz & Custom Custom,) Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, hand-painted detail line on the headstock, and a TKL hard case. Lead time is 10-12 weeks.
