Video Review Of First Act’s Lola CE140 SFA Edition Cary May 10th

Guitar One Magazine has posted a quick video review of First Act’s SFA Edition Lola CE140––a comparatively low-cost single-cutaway model guitar that sports a pair of bikini-clad Alnico V humbuckers, North American Maple neck, rosewood fretboard with pearloid inlays, die-cast tuners, and standard 3-way pickup switching.

While First Act was previously known for their super cheap-o guitars (often found in Wal-Marts and the like,) and most recently gained some notoriety for their partnership with auto manufacturer Volkswagen, they’re apparently building some fine guitars these days, as attested to by this video review from Guitar One’s Michael Ross.

Perhaps First Act is worth a second look?

Intonation sounds good! The clean setting sounds are pretty balanced too.
