This one is apparently based on their 'Classic Custom' model, which in turn is based on the original Black Beauty. As far as I can tell the Guitar Of The Week Silverburst has the same headstock inlays as the other 'Classic Custom' LPs, but not the same as the Custom Shop version LPs––heck, I wasn't even aware that they were <em>selling</em> a CS version until you mentioned it. I'll never understand Gibson. People ask me about these all the time, but I've never seen one listed on their Custom Shop site, and I've never come across one in a store, so I figured they weren't being built.
