Well, it’s official… today marks the launching of Electric Guitar Review’s new Mobile Edition––a massively streamlined version of EGR formatted specifically for your Blackberry, cell phone or other mobile device.
Just point your mobile browser to our standard web address, and through a bit of behind-the-scenes voodoo you’ll find all the late-breaking guitar news, reviews and commentary you’ve come to expect from EGR––now in a much more portable and bandwidth-friendly package.
Most major Smart Phones and PDAs are currently supported, but keep in mind that your mileage may vary.
The EGR Mobile Edition is brought to you with the help of Alex King’s incredible WordPress Mobile plugin 1.7 (though I couldn’t help tinkering with the code a bit myself ;) .)
Tip of the hat goes to Tris for pointing me towards WordPress Mobile during last weekend’s excellent WordCamp 2007 conference.
