Hi,

I purchased a Fiesta Red Thinskin Fender Jaguar, and after having played a very well set up Japanese model for a lont time, I was quite impressed with the craftsmanship and playability. With a flat neck and big frets, the guitar even plays better than the vintage models (snobs will probably get on this forum to say otherwise). As for the finish, personally I prefer Poly finishes because i like the fact that they don't wear easy. I don't find guitars with dings and looking battered very attractive at all. There's nothing wrong with Poly, so I don't know what the fuss is about. I purchased this Jaguar because I played one of these thinskin models and found it so comfortable and enjoyable to play. I highly recommend it. Also the pickups are HOT!! Add a little reverb and your cooking!

oh mannnn...I am going nuts!
I want 'em in all the colors especially Seafoam Green.
Fender has been quietly doing some cool things like bringing back colors and doing guitars in 24.75" scale. Renovating this classic while retaining the good looks is a super idea. Just in time for the peak of the Shoegaze resurgence.

Now how about a Strat and Tele in 24.75 and 24? And mid-line and high-end 30" basses? And really, a Strat's vibrato is a truck next to PRS's Ferrari Trem. And maybe a new design vibrato for the Tele? How about new silkscreen fonts for the SuperSonic and other amps with that stupid block font? I'm just saying...

Rick, if you've got that kind of money you should check out a few luthier's and get a guitar custom built to your specs.

Not that this helps the average leftie, of course.

Yes, we are screwed. :(

I've got about three grand burning a hole in my pocket and all I want is a Les Paul GT. But NOOOOOOOO. Evil devil hands don't get to play.

I live in DFW, so I'll probably go to the Arlington Guitar Show in October. Hopefully SouthPaw "jack up the price" Guitar will be there. I swear those guys used to be used car salesmen.

I recently bough a fairly expensive instrument through Music Machine, and their support is phenomenal.

Highly recommended :)

I have to admit that when it comes to guitars I really take it for granted that I'm right handed... I mean, there's a helluva' lot of left-handed guitarists in the world––seems like a massively under served market.

Always loved this guitar's profile (my first Fender was a '66 Candy Apple Red Jazzmaster), love Shoreline Gold, and think the Jaguar/Jazzmaster whammy bar is the greatest feat of engineering ever pulled off by human hands (sod yer suspension bridges, Brunel).
