i think the maruader/s-1 cosmetics in a more for-real neck/electronics package would be great.

I can’t believe they haven’t thrown in a Marauder or S-1 model reimagined for the year 2007.
I know they weren’t a great success back in the day but make ‘em set-necks this time around and see what happens. With as many SGs with three single coils as they have released, an S-1 seems like an obvious choice.

Personally I’m stunned that they haven’t thrown an ES model in there somewhere… we’ve seen LPs, SGs, Flying Vs, and Explorers, not to mention a few bass guitars, but not a single Electric Spanish in sight.

I think IG blog is dead on with their recommendations. But, as I said over there, Gibson should make a Lefty Exclusive. Since they are only making 400, you know they’ll sell every one of them. But just imagine the appreciation on a Gibson Les Paul model that was ONLY made as a Lefty…

But then that would go against my theory that Gibson hates lefties. :P
