The CS-336/46/56 was a lot bigger news to me.

I'm about ready to conclude that Henry's a wanker.

It took 50 years for Gibson to whittle down a 335 and fix the feedback. Geez, what innovators. Still not a vibrato in sight!

Sadly, I think I kinda want one, though. But that's just Guitar-Acquisition-Disease. Much rather have an Epi Ultra.

I couldn't agree with you more, Kung... the ES-339 isn't what I would call "groundbreaking" by any means, but for die-hard Gibson fans it's definitely big news :)

I've actually been a big proponent of Ibanez's Artcore Series––they are mighty nice for the price.

This guitar is cool and all, but Ibanez already did this in the 80's with their stagemaster series of smaller but full size looking semi hollow body guitars with side mounted input jacks, which have since become the AM series of artcore guitars. While I'm sure the quality that coems with gibson must be nice, the artcore series is awfully well made for their wallet friendliness, and they kind of got to this idea 20 years earlier. Gibson is a little slow on the draw (and overpriced in my opinion).

Other than being extremely small, I found the video to be of pretty high quality. At any rate, it does a good job of showing the guitar in pretty good detail. I couldn't visualize the size of the guitar, and the video does a great job of showing its size relative to a person.

Hmm...

I found the sound quality to be better than 99% of the video product demos I see online, and the image quality was certainly better than what most guitar makers are currently publishing (when they publish them at all.)

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one.

Thanks for chiming in, though :)
