Thank You For All Of Your Thoughts & Prayers Cary Oct 16th

Cary And Lori State FairHi Everybody. Lori and I are home again, and while we have a long road ahead of us, we are happy as hell to be out of that damned Intensive Care Unit.

I wanted to say thank you for all of your kind words and well-wishes, and let you know that in spite of our current difficulties I plan on keeping this blog running at a pretty normal pace.

Playing guitar, and writing about guitars, has become very therapeutic for me over the years, and I certainly don’t plan to give it up now when I most need it.

While I’m not going to go into full details here, suffice it to say that last Sunday I came within minutes of losing my dear wife… in fact, I was told by three different doctors that she would not walk out of the ICU alive.

Of course, she proved them wrong again.

    Lori & Cary,

     Just a message from Canada; my thoughts and prayers are with you both.  As much as I love your blog, I just hope for a speedy recovery for Lori and peace of mind for both.  I have experienced a great deal of loss in the last few years which is why I started to take up the guitar a couple of years ago.  I agree it is very theraputic and it has not only kept me going, it has given me a whole new passion to pursue in life.  I just wish I had taken it up 20 years ago in high school.  Best wishes for the both of you; you obviously care a great deal for each other.
