Good looking guitar and at a good price.The pickguard and humbuckers are an easy fix.I’ve got to check them out. Being Canadian I will have to pay a little more,but they do look cool.

Gretsch is probably just trying to stave off Eastwood, which has amazing 6 and 12 string knock-offs for half the price of these guitars. Check out the “classic” guitars, and listen to the demos.

These guitars look great! Although I agree that the pickguard and the humbucker surrounds would have to go. I was thinking about adding an Epiphone semi-hollow to my arsenal, but these looks really nice. I guess it’s off to Guitar Center this weekend to see what they sound like.

You’re right Mark. A very tempting axe at a nice price. I don’t have any Gretsch guitars in my arsenal, but I could see getting one of these…

Does anyone else think Fender/Gretsch needs to do more with its web sites? No media of any kind. How about a video demo, or at least some sound bytes?

Those pick-ups are funny looking. Are they the usual Gretsch size, I wonder, or standard humbucker sized? Either way, the nasty pickguard and humbucker surrounds would have to go.
