Gibson Releases Limited Run Of Just 50 Zakk Wylde ZV Buzzsaws

Zakk-Wylde-Buzz-SawWell, it’s been nearly a year since rumors first started flying around the web about Gibson producing this beast, but the latest news coming out of Nashville is that the company is now releasing a strictly limited run of just 50 Inspired By Zakk Wylde ZV Buzzsaw guitars.

Looking like some kind of twisted SG/Flying V hybrid from hell (yeah, it’s not going to win any marks for subtlety,) the ZV Buzzsaw comes loaded with a pair of active EMG 81/85 humbuckers, dual volume controls, single tone control, black hardware, a 3-piece maple neck with plain oil finish, and of course that insane orange and black Buzzsaw pattern graphic.

Other features include a strings-through-body V-shaped tailpiece, Nashville Tune-o-matic bridge, black Grover tuners, LP Custom headstock, Custom-grade pearl block inlays, bound ebony fretboard with 22 Jumbo frets, and a solid mahogany body (19“ wide x 24 1/2” long x 1 5/8“ thick.)

No word on pricing for this strictly Limited Edition run, but the guitar will apparently ship with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, and Certificate of Authenticity signed by .
