Was that your SG on the picture, Cary? That is such a cool color for that guitar – love it. I was torn between Classic Rocker and Weekend Warrior. Since I’m more of a “Weeknight Warrior” decided to go with Classic Rocker – if there was “Geezer Rocker” that would be me. Like the poll! How ’bout another one polling us on the guitars we own and how many of them we have? Like to know whether I have too many – or too few.

I put “other” because I play electric guitar at our church 3 out of 4 weekends of the month. We play quite a few different styles.

Is it me or are there some dirty minds here??

All but one question was hard. What best describes you?

I wanted to put classic rock, it brings back so many memories, and I love it.
Yet I love a lot of shred metal, If I’m right about what is shred metal.
I listen to Pantera, disturbed, Godsmack, Seether, but also Nickelback, Kid Rock, heck I don’t know, I guess my music taste is all mixed up.

Hah, in my case “Other” meant “Nothing”! I want to get a band put together but that’s not really happening where I live right now (Iwaki City, Japan!).

I play for myself and for fun…I love music and used bass and guitar to study (I’m the guy that made a post on tube freaks about scales). I dig the site because it sates my guitar-hunger! I really like the coverage and the reviews.

My “other” answer for genre can be boiled down to live improv electronica with an ambient/tribal kind of bent. When I’m working with belly dancers, that is, which I do from time to time. Coming up on the 21st: a gig doing a live film soundtrack to Forbidden Planet, which would probably be classified as “dark ambient.” And we’ll have a theremin player!
