Sweet… I wanted to give you all a heads-up that venerable pickup-maker Seymour Duncan is currently running a contest to giveaway ten full sets of Slash Signature Humbuckers –– officially known as the Alnico II Pro Slash.
These are the same pickups used in Gibson’s recently announced Slash ‘Appetite For Destruction’ Les Paul, and they were designed to reproduce the sound of Slash’s number one axe; the Les Paul he has apparently used in every single studio recording or performance since Appetite for Destruction.
The random drawing will be made June 15th, and ten lucky bastards (bastettes?) will each win a set of pickups, while second prize winners will receive “promotional items or merchandising from either Slash or Seymour Duncan.”
