I’m not sure how I missed this before, but I wanted to point out that Fender, along with Norwegian band BigBang, is giving away a Road Worn ’50s Telecaster, and there are just a few more days before the deadline is up (May 31st.)
Fender’s foray into producing budget “Relics” –– via their Road Worn series –– was rather controversial, no doubt about it, but whatever you may think of purchasing a guitar pre-worn-in, I have to tell you that I hear nothing but rave reviews of these instruments from folks who actually own them.
Anyway, of the entire Road Worn series, this blonde ’50s Tele is easily the one I prefer best on aesthetics alone… Heck, I don’t usually sign-up for these giveaways but this time I figured what-the-heck.
