Ok, I just wanted to point out that Fender has posted some short-but-sweet video demos of their new Super-Sonic 22 combo amp in action, and so far it sounds damned nice. Instruments include a’52 Telecaster RI in the top video, utilizing the amp’s “Burn” channel and further doused with the analog-style echo of a Boss Space Echo pedal.
The second video features a Gretsch White Falcon also played through the Super-Sonic’s “Burn” channel, this time with the added help of a TC Electronic Nova Delay.
Both demos sound good to my ears, but I would have preferred hearing them minus any added pedals or effects…what’s up with that Fender?

They have some more videos without effects. My question is – why are the videos so short?

I don’t know, but the more of these videos I watch the more convinced I am that I might need to give one of these beauties a shot –– with onboard reverb and cascading gain I wouldn’t even need any pedals other than my trusty tuner… that is SERIOUSLY tempting.
